Portage View SchoolBarrie, Ontario 40 / 650 livres donnés
Nom du directeur ou de la directrice : Rob Prouty Our number one goal is to foster a love of reading for our students. We use books in many ways at our school including independent reading, read alouds, buddy reading, to build growth mindset, inform about FNMI, to gain ideas for our makerspace and so many more ways. In September 2017 PVPS will be acquiring an extended french and french immersion program for students in grade 4-8. The acquisition of french materials will become a priority for us in the fall as we currently do not have any french books for these students in the library to support the students in this program and financial support specific to this program area is limited.
