Nom du directeur ou de la directrice : Deanna Hannaford A new infusion of books would be wonderful for our library. We don't have a budget to purchase new library books. Any new books are purchased with funds raised from holding a Scholastic book fair. To get the most profit from a book fair the books must be chosen from Scholastic and there is very little non-fiction to choose from. The majority of our non-fiction titles are quite dated. The average year of publication is 1997. We would definitely benefit if we could get a collection of STEM books. Additionally, we would also love to have a diversity collection in the library. Kakabeka Falls School is a rural school. There is no municipal or public library in our village. This makes it difficult for our students to access public library resources.
