ClarksdaleBurlington, Ontario 426 / 400 livres donnés
Nom du directeur ou de la directrice : Mrs. Janet Reesor Due to a School Board initiative, two thirds of our books were on a weeding list due to age. We didn't weed as many as we should have as we couldn't begin to replace them. Many of our students' families cannot afford books and rely on our library for their reading material. We are also a French immersion school, so our budget is divided between two languages. Many of our books are damaged and have been repaired more than once. As reading for enjoyment plays a vital role in literacy and as students are naturally attracted to new, and current books it would be wonderful to be able to update our collection.
