Burtts Corner, Nouveau-Brunswick 764 / 220 livres donnés

Nom du directeur ou de la directrice : Jaime Foster- Stewart Our books are not as current, especially for our elementary and middle level students. We need more current and up to date resources. We are in need of a variety of high interest level readers for both girls and boys from kindergarten to grade 8. Our school does not have a set budget to purchase library books. We work using some community fundraisers (book fair and other grants) to support where we can but there is a definite lack of funding in this area. Being a rural school, we lack many of the financial resources that urban schools attract. We have many students who love to read and we often are not able to fit them with the books that they are interested in, especially newer series of books. We want to encourage our students to be life long readers and excited about reading and by having more up to date books and books that they are interested in we can achieve this goal.
