Nom du directeur ou de la directrice : Patti Sweet One of our school goals is literacy. During homeroom, teachers either model silent reading or share a read aloud with their students. As a result of this initiative, students flock to our library to sign out books, use the chromebooks to research a topic shared during the read aloud, or to sit on a bean bag chair with a peer and discuss the latest book they are reading. We encourage and support our students love of reading by trying to provide a variety of books, for all levels of learners. As Dr. Seuss wrote “The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you'll go.” And the love of reading will allow students to go many places.
