I am the proud parent of 2 boys who love reading. I would gladly to take full credit for that fact and while some credit is due to the time I invested in reading to them from a young age, much of this love has resulted from always having access to books that interest them. My youngest son spends every dollar he gets at Indigo and is very proud of his book collection. He considers it his accomplishment much like a trophy. I enjoy buying him books but now he is into graphic novels which he can breeze through in no time at all. This is where a stacked collection at the school library really benefits my child. I want him to continue reading what he enjoys but can't justify buying a new novel every other day. Thank you for giving back to school libraries so that kids can continue having access to books they enjoy!
