It was challenging to pick only three books that every library should have, but the ones that came to mind were:
1. Wonder by R.J. Palacio because it teaches values like empathy, kindness, to not judge others, be brave and stand up for what's right, and your attitude and outlook can change the world.
2. Scaredy Squirrel by Mélanie Watt because it shows kids that it's okay to be scared while also teaching coping strategies and the idea that fear shouldn't hold you back from living life.
3. Press Here by Hervé Tullet because it shows that books can be played with, bonded over, inspire creativity, and read again and again.
